Kara Beall

C0-Director: World Stage

Teaching with Debut since: 2026

Kara is a Criminology major at Colorado State University with a lifelong passion for theatre. Her journey with Debut began at a young age when her mother brought her to a Debut Players performance. Captivated by Debut’s commitment to excellence and its troupe-based structure, Kara enrolled in classes the following semester and eventually earned a place in the top-level Debut Players ensemble.

During her time at Debut, Kara deepened her love of acting while also developing leadership skills through work in multiple technical departments and assistant directing. Some of her favorite roles include the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, Marilla in Anne of Green Gables, Elen in Robin Hood, and Mrs. Westenra in Dracula. Beyond theatre, Kara enjoys a wide range of creative pursuits, including sewing, crocheting, and singing.

Kara is thrilled to begin her first semester directing at Debut. Grounded in the core values she learned as a student, she is passionate about challenging young artists to do their best while fostering a fun, supportive community—one that makes Debut the highlight of their week.
