First Stage

In this class you’ll discover which direction is “stage right” and what to do when the director says “cheat out.” You’ll learn how to use your voice, your face and your body to bring characters to life! We will perform a one-act play for family and friends as our final performance.

Students will learn:

  • The basics of acting.

  • The fundamentals of body movement, vocal control and theatre terminology.

  • To create a character and work in ensemble.
