Lee Kaplan  Co-Founder, Artistic Director, Director
A Debut founder, Lee has over 40 years of theatre experience. She has vocal, dance and theatre training from CSU, the DCPA & the National Theatre Conservatory. Her extensive work with children’s theatre includes Small World Players and FC Children’s Theatre.

Gregg Osterhout  Co-Founder, Technical Director
A DTC founder, Gregg's behind-the-scenes expertise comes from over 100 shows in the last 22 years with local and regional theatre and dance groups. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film from C.U. and is a published children's playwright.

Sydney Smith  Director
Sydney has 30 years of experience in the theatre. After studying at HB Studio in NYC she began working with children’s theatre. In Fort Collins, Sydney has performed with OpenStage Theatre and Co. since 1997 and has been with DTC since 2006.

Heath Howes  Director
Heath has 17 years of experience in theatre. He majored in Theatre Acting at UNC and studied at the New York School for Film and TV. He’s performed with numerous theatres in Chicago. Locally he has worked with Jester’s Theatre, Carousel Dinner Theatre as well as Rabbit Hole Radio Theatre.

Robyn Dulye  Director
15 years ago Robyn found DTC as a student - now she returns to Stage 2 as their Director. Robyn's university training is from CSU and London with an emphasis on theatre education.

Nikki Gibbs  Director
Nikki is a graduate of Colorado State University and received her BA in Performing Arts with an emphasis in Acting and Directing. She has performed in many shows out in the Northern Colorado area. Nikki also received more training while living in Chicago, where she acted and studied under Steppenwolf Theatre Alumni. Nikki has a strong passion for theater, but also shares a love for Environmental Conservation. Recently, she taught youth in Utah about the importance of our Natural World and what we can do to keep it clean and intact for future generations. Nikki loves teaching and is so excited to be able to share her enthusiasm with Debut students!

Briana Sprecher-Kinneer  , Director & Office Manager
Briana graduated from The University of Iowa and The University of Northern Colorado with Bachelor degrees in Theatre and English. She has taught, trained and directed at Riverside Theatre in Iowa City, UNC, and several front range public schools. She has been a member of The Alliance for Colorado Theatre, the Educational Theatre Association and OpenStage Theatre & Company.

Dennis Bigelow  , Director
Dennis is a graduate of Webster University in Saint Louis, Missouri with a degree in music composition. He has had a lifetime passion for music, theater and dance. For the past few years he has been using his talents on the radio, but he is excited to return to his theater roots.
